Eurosafe Solutions asked Fletcher Insulation to review the thermal capabilities of the Constant Force post.

What has a roof systems got to do with the environment ?

Through our experience in the UK & Europe with roof anchors that affix to the structural frame work, such as eyebolts, it was proven that they hinder the thermal efficiency of the buildings. Allowing heat from within the building pass out through the penetrations and therefore cool the building.

Australia is warmer than the UK & Europe !

Yes it is, but the principles are the same. Up there they spend alot of energy keeping the buildings warm, whereas in Australia, we spend alot of energy keeping them cool.

Mr Steve Franetic, Technical Services Manager at Fletcher Insulation, found that installing the Constant Force post will have no adverse effect on the performance of roof insulation as long as the installation was carried out as per the Latchways policy.
