Fall protection systems from Eurosafe Solutions are designed and installed using Latchways ManSafe® systems
Latchways cable based ManSafe® systems use an 8mm diameter stainless steel cable which provides excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. Latchways systems are also inherently flexible as it flows around corners and deviations, as well as up and down inclines.
Operating in a normal environment, a Latchways ManSafe® system has a typical lifespan of 20 years. Under AS/NZS 1891.2, fall protection systems need to be tested and inspected on an annual basis and Eurosafe Solutions Pty Ltd offer a designated team to carry out this service.
The Constant Force® post used in a Latchways cable-based system is specifically designed to be fitted to virtually all types of modern roofing systems without damaging the integrity of the roof. In the event of an operative falling whilst attached to a system, the loads generated when arresting the fall are absorbed by the posts rather than being transferred to the roof, building or structure.
Typical fixing backgrounds for fall protection systems are:
- Standing Seam roof sheets
- Composite roof sheets
- Secret fix roof sheets
- Built up on site roof sheets
- Membrane roof sheets
- Steelwork
- Concrete
- Brickwork
Combining Eurosafe Solutions Pty Ltd’s vast experience in the design and installation of the systems and the understanding of all the different types of fall protection systems, we are confident in our ability to install a bespoke system to suit all of our Clients’ requirements be they in a roof based application, overhead, on cranes and crane tracks and in vertical situations such as ladders.
