Project Brief

Supertuff Waterproofing had to re-roof domestic apartments due to weathered, failing membrane flat roof.

Due to the roof top service requirements such as television aerials and guttering, a form of permanent fall protection system was required.

Supertuff Waterproofing wanted a fall protection system that would not invalidate their total roof warranty package. A fall protection system must guarantee a watertight finish and be approved by the membrane manufacturer Sika Sarnafil.

The Solution

The Latchways Constant Force post is the only approved fall protection system by Sika Sarnafil. The Constant Force has a unique PVC coated base plate and countersunk fixing detail, which allows a guaranteed waterproof finish.
