The Working at Height Regulations 2005 (WAHR) recommend Collective Protection Equipment as the first choice when it comes to specifying fall protection equipment. The reason being that the Health & Safety Executive recognizes that Collective Protection Systems require a low level of user competence.
As a result, it is important to ensure that the equipment provided to protect against the fall hazard is fit for purpose, as it is likely that the end user will not have the experience to identify the hazard. It is therefore essential to have your Collective Protection Systems inspected on a regular basis, by an experienced company, such as Eurosafe Solutions, which provides peace of mind and reduces risks to workers.
