Eurosafe Solutions has become an approved Continuous Professional Development provider to the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA) by providing a CPD activity that will help Architects make informed decisions when designing and specifying fall protection systems for safe working at height.
Recognised by RAIA, the CPD seminar entitled "Designing and Specifying Fall Protection Systems" sees attendees accrue 1 formal point towards the requirements of the RAIA CPD policy and the New South Wales Architects Registration Board's Continuing Professional Education Scheme in the area of "Design".
The RAIA Approved CPD seminar gives all attendees an understanding of the following areas:
· Protecting those who work at height
· The Hierarchy of Risk Management
· Fall Restraint and Fall Arrest
· Choosing the appropriate fall protection solution
· Designing and specifying fall protection systems
The seminar lasts for approximately 1 hour and is carried out at the Architect’s practice, giving the Architect the opportunity to ask any questions or present any current projects where designing the most appropriate fall protection solution is proving difficult. The CPD seminar also covers the history and advancements of roof top fall protection, from structural fixed anchors through to top fix anchors, such as the Constant Force post, that have been tested on the leading commercial roofs.
The seminar works alongside Eurosafe Solutions in the UK by providing Architects with the knowledge to make informed decisions in the design and specification of the most appropriate fall protection solution for their project, all of which comply with the relevant regulations and guidelines.
