When ascending or descending roof slopes with a pitch greater than 15° it is recommended that step units are used to allow safe and easy access. Eurosafe Solutions Ltd has designed a step detail that can be used on any type of roof sheet to do just that. Made from sections of the WalkSafe®  walkway, the step units are designed to offer a stable level walking surface at most common roof angles. The step units can be used in conjunction with a cable based fall protection system , handrail or fall proof covers to provide safe access to plant units or up and over ridgelines between gutters.
