Overhead Systems

Eurosafe Solutions Ltd install overhead fall protection systems in many different locations. These range from installations to the inside of portal frame buildings to allow access to the top of aircraft or wagons for maintenance purposes, through to the full design, fabrication and installation of davit arms, incorporating ManSafe® systems, to loading bays. Eurosafe Solutions Ltd offer different forms of overhead systems:

The Latchways single span system has innovative Constant Force® technology which allows all workers attached to the system to have maximum accessibility and hands free mobility to safely go about their duties. These systems are ideal for industrial environments and applications such as warehouses and loading bays. The system design allows for single spans to be up to 60m in length and as there are no intermediate anchor points the installation process is simple.

Eurosafe Solutions Ltd supply bespoke davit arm systems, both fixed and mobile, for the likes of Tate and Lyle and Cooper Cameron. These bespoke systems are designed specifically to suit our Client’s requirements and typical uses include the tanker industry where drivers have to gain access to the roof of their vehicle to load/unload or dip their tanks. The davit arm system with ManSafe® technology and inertia block allows the operative to attach to the system at ground level prior to accessing the roof of the vehicle therefore giving protection from the moment they leave the ground. Each system is fixed to its location not to the vehicle therefore making it a cost effective solution for multi vehicle companies.

Eurosafe Solutions Ltd has specialist knowledge of the design and installation of safety systems in the event rigging industry. A majority of these locations are extremely high and exposed, and with the riggers generally travelling from event to event you need to design a system that allows use with a standard karabiner rather than a specific travelling device. Eurosafe Solutions Ltd use the Latchways RotoLatch™ system in such installations as it allows the riggers hands free use in combination with their standard twin lanyard harness.

Using our knowledge of overhead systems, our design and engineering experience coupled with IRATA qualified management and operatives, Eurosafe Solutions Ltd has installed systems all over Europe such as Earls Court and Olympia Ltd, London, where the systems had to curve and go through 90° bends whilst giving constant hands free safe access for the event riggers with over 7000m of safe access.
