Rope Access

Eurosafe Solutions Ltd use rope access techniques during many of its own installations
all carried out under the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) guidelines and the British Standard Code of Practice BS7985: 2002
– the use of rope access methods for industrial purposes.

All of our work is carried out using fully qualified IRATA operatives and our management team includes level 3 IRATA qualified supervisors with
a vast range of experience in the rope access industry. As well as using these techniques for our own work we are able to offer this service to our Clients to carry out or assist with their operations. Rope access is a form of work positioning, initially developed from techniques used in climbing and caving, and the operative uses ropes to ascend and descend. Eurosafe Solutions Ltd is able to provide specialist staff with vast experience in varying types of work including:

  • Structural surveys
  • Sign erection and maintenance
  • Cladding and flashing works
  • Mastic sealing
  • Glazing installation
  • Cleaning works
  • Painting end.

The industry has an exemplary safety record which derives from adherence to the guidelines laid out by IRATA. These rigorous training requirements produce professional, highly aware technicians. This approach has meant there have been very few accidents since IRATA were founded in the late 1980’s. All of our technicians carry up to date training records and certificates.

Rope access can generate considerable savings as it allows a rapid installation and dismantling of access systems which in turn causes minimal disruption to building occupants or other trades. Rope access gives a practical, safe solution with the ability to solve awkward and troublesome problems that might otherwise absorb a disproportionate amount of time and money.
