Retest Operative
We are international market leaders in the fall protection industry through our ongoing commitment to safety, quality and development. Due to the development and expansion of our testing and inspection department, we currently have the following vacancy.
We require a site based operative to work alongside existing site supervisor at various locations throughout the UK, to undertake the test and inspection of a variety of Eurosafe products. This to involve dealing face to face with clients, planning works to ensure efficient and successful working practices and completion of contract specific reports to a high standard. Able to work upon own initiative and as part of a team.
The suitable candidate will possess the applicable skills, experience and be fully conversant in the following role:
The installation and testing of permanent access and fall protection equipment. This to include cable base fall protection systems, abseil/clip on eyebolt and fall arrest ladders.
Essential qualifications required include a full driving licence whilst having any of the following qualifications and/or experiences is a distinct advantage: CSCS. IPAF, PASMA, working at height and fall arrest harness training. Confidence and a responsible attitude whilst working at height are essential.
Candidates possessing similar and transferable skills will be considered. Job specific training can be provided for suitable candidate. The successful candidate will be expected to have the potential to develop their skill base to allow them to grow into a supervising role in their own right.
